Requirements
Square One Resources required a new website to coincide with their brand refresh and to update the functionality that they then required to operate effectively online throughout Europe. The main requirement was that the new website would be designed within a content management system (CMS) that made it easy for them to develop new content, pages, sections and page elements in-house. The system also needed to be compatible with an existing job-posting system that stored jobs in an internal database, but with the ability to display live jobs on-the-fly in searched online job-boards.
Solution
Cre8ive Wisdom was engaged by Square One Resources after being recommended by another client that Cre8ive Wisdom had recently completed a new website for. Cre8ive Wisdom set about a highly technical build, customising and coding a completely unique back-end, with a content management system (CMS) powerful enough for the client to be able to choose page types from a template, assign elements to the page and functionality to be available on those pages. The CMS also allowed the structure to be created and edited, as well as other language versions to be easily instigated.
Outcome
The CMS development and website design was completed in a few short weeks and within a budget that was 70% cheaper than other quotes that the client had received from London-based agencies. Square One Resources put forward several people to be fully trained within the system (which was included in the overall price of the project) and the website was successfully integrated with the job board system and launched. The client now manages their website on a daily basis, with the ability to control every aspect of it, including SEO elements, imagery, buttons, links, layout, words, menus and structure.
