Dream Idea is an online platform and community helping entrepreneurs, inventors and people with business ideas to turn their dream ideas into reality through expert advice and investors.
Requirements
From the naming of the concept, through to branding, marketing roll-out, social media support, collateral and the development of a custom-built CMS-based website community, Dream Idea required a complete package of strategic marketing support along side a hugely technical and challenging web application build.
Solution
As Cre8ive Wisdom was able to develop the idea with the client and support the project in all aspects of the requirement as a partner, Dream Idea began to take shape in May 2011 as an idea, with branding as a start point. The website concept and design stage was then initiated, with a 6 month build of the beta site taking the project through to November 2011. The website, billed as Facebook meets Dragons Den, features completely bespoke coding, an online community and forum and the opportunity for users to engage with each other in a safe online environment that protects their ideas and IP.
A social media and online marketing campaign was also developed alongside, engaging early-adopters to help to shape the community and online experience / functionality. Another couple of month’s development time was then focused on taking the beta site to an alpha launch in Feb 2012.
Outcome
Cre8ive Wisdom is continuing to market Dream Idea and onwardly develop the online proposition until at least 2014. The website has attracted initial interest from hundreds of early members, allowing the wider launch media and marketing to take place.
